We arrive at your dock, marina or home, review the condition of the boat or dock, take measurements, and discuss the services you’re looking for.

You’ll receive a detailed quote for approval before any work begins, so you know exactly what to expect.

Step 4: Professional Detailing

Once approved, we complete the detail using professional-grade products and equipment, all directly at your dock for maximum convenience.

Step 5: Final Invoice & Completion

After the job is complete, we send your invoice electronically for easy payment. Once payment is received, your service is complete and your boat is ready to enjoy.

My name is Nate Stephenson, I am an 18-year-old business student at the University of Guelph where I recently completed my first year. Growing up in a family that owned and operated several businesses, I was introduced to entrepreneurship from a young age and quickly developed a strong interest in building something of my own. One of those family businesses was a powersports rental company, where I spent many years cleaning and delivering boats and jet skis to customers. Combining that passion with the business knowledge and work ethic I’ve developed over the years, I started Dock & Detail to provide convenient, professional mobile boat detailing & dock cleaning services while living my best life by the water. My goal is simple: to deliver quality work that allows people to enjoy and take pride in life on the water.

FAQ’s

  • No, all of our services can be completed while you’re away. We’ll communicate throughout the process, send updates as needed, and send pictures of the finished product.

  • Yes, no need to move your boat as we can service boats right at the dock.

  • We serve customers in Simcoe County, Muskoka, Georgian Bay, Kawartha Lakes and surrounding areas.

  • All of our pricing is calculated based on length of your boat and square footage of your dock. Before each job begins, a Dock & Detail employee will take measurements and present a quote to be approved before starting any work.

  • All payments are taken digitally. When a job is completed we will send a link to your invoice where you can review the completed services and pay with credit or debit card. All payments are handled securely through stripe payment processing.

  • No, we pump our own water from the lake to preform our services.

  • Currently, Dock & Detail services all small - mid sized, open top boats. This includes wake boats, ski boats, fishing boats, bow riders, pontoon boats, jet boats and more. As of right now, we do not service mid - large sized cabin cruisers.
